XL Experiences

This project was a studio space for a wedding décor company, and from the very first conversation, it was clear that the designer's way of working needed to drive every decision we made. He has a deeply collaborative, fluid approach to his craft - his team moves between ideas, materials, and conversations constantly, so the space had to reflect that rather than constrain it. An open-plan layout felt like the natural starting point, one that allows people to move freely and interact without the space getting in the way.

At the same time, the nature of wedding design means long client meetings, detailed briefings, and plenty of creative back-and-forth. We wanted the studio to accommodate that without breaking the openness of the layout, so we introduced a glass partition that can section off a quieter meeting area when needed. This gives the space flexibility - open and energetic when the team is deep in a project, and composed and focused when a client walks in. 

The aesthetic direction was raw and contemporary with clean lines. We felt it was important that the space itself didn't compete with the work happening inside it.
