Qatar Bungalow - Façade Design

For this residence, we focused on a strong modern architectural language, where linear geometry and natural materials define the character of the elevation. On the façade, we integrated vertical wooden louvers with large glass openings to create a rhythm of transparency and privacy, while still bringing in plenty of natural light.

We extended layered horizontal planes outward to form deep overhangs, which provide both shading and visual depth. Green terraces and cascading planters were carefully incorporated to soften the built mass, helping the architecture blend naturally with its landscape.

The material palette combines warm wood, textured stone, and crisp white surfaces - creating contrast while keeping a cohesive look. The stepped volumetric composition helps break down the scale of the three-story structure, giving it balanced and elegant proportions.

Overall, our goal was to emphasize a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, integrate sustainable shading strategies, and create a refined modern aesthetic that responds well to the Qatari climate and lifestyle.
